Strong finish in stout North South Shootout field...
The 2009 North South Shootout proved once again to be a showcase
for many of the best short track drivers in the country and the
boys from Horak Racing proved they could hold their own in the big
horsepower feature. With an ace over-the-wall gang from Kyle
Beattie Racing clicking off pit stops with the upmost precision,
Horak managed to reel in several of the big hitters and finish a
respectable 16th. Crew chief Neal Cantor and the rest of the
team are now busy preparing for the World Crown 300 at Gresham
Motorsports Park in Jefferson, Georgia. In its
26th year, the World Crown will draw the
best-of-the-best late model drivers in what will be the most
prestigious event for Horak in 2009.
