Rhythm Tough to Find at Dillon

Once again Dillon Motor Speedway proved to be a tough test for
the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour regulars as they made their first of
two stops in Dillon, South Carolina. Terry Horak, who had
competed previously at the track in the Pro Challenge series, found
notoriously tough turns three and four to be as tricky as
ever. As the race developed into a series of long green
runs, Horak worked to find that consistent rhythm necessary to get
the car to perform at both ends of the speedway. Post race
inspection yielded this a lofty challenge as a slow leak caused the
right front tire to lose around ten pounds of air during the
event. Regardless, the team managed to finish 14th
after starting in the 18th position which pushed them to
7th place in the national points chase.
