Solid Top Ten at Concord

With track temperatures reaching over 150 degrees, round three
of the HutchBSR Pro Five Series at Concord Speedway proved to be as
much of an endurance test as a race. Sweltering temperatures
in the afternoon made practice and qualifying a greasy
challenge. The Horak Racing team was able to put a great set
up in the car for qualifying and the first of the two laps went
well; however, the car jumped out of the groove a bit in turn one
on the second lap and all hopes of an upfront starting position for
Terry went out the window. The team would start
8th in the tough field of pro late models. With
constantly changing track temperatures, the team led by crew chief
Neal Cantor pitted during several of the caution flag laps to
adjust the set up. By the latter half of the race, Terry had
worked his way up to the third position, but would fall back in the
waning laps to finish 6th for the night. Though
not quite the finish they had hoped for, it was a good points night
for team Horak, now solidly sitting in sixth place in the series
and just 8 points out of third place.
