Crew Salvages Top Ten for Horak at North/South Shootout...
The 2010 running of the North/South Shootout proved to be a
tough challenge for 28 of the nation's top super late model drivers
and teams. Although temperatures were near freezing, the
action on the track was very hot with no shortage of bumping
and banging.
In a caution filled race that took 222 laps to record 125 green
flag laps, Terry and the team suffered damage to the race car
when avoiding a couple of incidents ahead in the field.
However, savvy pit work by the ace crew from Beattie Racing helped
the team persevere and record a 9th place finish after
starting 17th on the field.
The strong top ten finish felt like a win for Horak who after
the race could not have been more proud of his team and their
accomplishments for the evening, and the entire season.
